Tim is a Lieutenant/EMT-Intermediate and has been with the Cheney Fire Department for 23 years. Along with his response duties, Tim is the Public Fire Educator and Public Information Officer for the department. Tim is active with many injury prevention initiatives including the Spokane Safe Kids Coalition, and the Child Passenger Safety Team. He is currently the Chair of the Injury Prevention and Public Education Committee.

AJ Sanders

AJ Sanders is the Injury Prevention Public Education Coordinator for the East Region EMS.  Her work is done through a contract with the Spokane Regional Health District where she works as a health educator.  Through AJ's leadership, SRHD secured a falls prevention grant that extended to the 9 county region.  This grant allowed for the implementation of Stay Active and Independent for Life (S.A.I.L.) Exercise classes for older adults, as well as initiated the Fall Free Spokane Coalition in Spokane County.
